CGU helping Victorian customers impacted by the weekend downpour

CGU is processing claims as quickly as possible from the wild weather in Victoria over the weekend.

CGU customers who need to make a claim should contact our 24-hour claims service line as soon as possible on 1800 252 461, or speak with their insurance adviser.

Whilst we are prepared to handle a large number of calls, you may experience some delay in getting through to the hotline.

This is not only because of events in Victoria but also as a result of ongoing claims lodgement from the floods and cyclone in Queensland, the floods in northern NSW, and bushfires in WA.

Having the following information to hand will help us lodge your claim as quickly as possible:

    • Your policy number
    • The contact name and phone number of the person holding the policy
    • A loss description
    • Details of the location where the loss occurred
    • Details of any property damaged.
